UMC headed toward division | God is on the move | Trump headlines

Where in the Word are you today? I’m in Psalm 100.

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.

Serve the Lord with gladness.

Come before Him with joyful singing.

Know that the Lord Himself is God;

It is He who has made us and not ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.

Give thanks to Him, bless His name

For the Lord is good;

His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.

This is who we are; whose we are and what in the world we’re in the world to do!

Shout, serve, come before Him, know, enter, give thanks, bless His name! Why? Because He is God and He is God – His steadfast love endures forever and His faithfulness is to all generations.

Carmen talked with Brandon Showalter about several headline stories:

  1. The United Methodist Church is considering proposals to divide worldwide over LGBTQ issues.
  2. 2020 Year of the Bible, launched at the Museum of the Bible last week, hopes to lead to new Reformation.
  3. God is on the move in many mighty ways! A Muslim man shared his testimony with a Christian in the Middle East who then reported the story to David Platt who shared it a Gospel Coalition event – the evidence of Jesus’ visitation? Dictated notes that are a verbatim copy of the gospel of John.

Adam Carrington from Hillsdale College was back to discuss the Trump/Ukraine/whistleblower story as well as the President’s anticipated religious liberty speech at the United Nations.
