How to be principled Christians in a partisan world | The Promises of God Storybook Bible with Jennifer Lyell
A pastor from Idaho asked Carmen in a national conference call on Friday afternoon, “But how? How do I help my people not be so partisan when all the inputs they receive are divisive? How do I help my people be principled Christians when the word just wants them to be tribal partisans?” How indeed. Today, Carmen talks with Cedarville University professor Mark Caleb Smith about practical ways being politically engaged where it matters most: close to home. They talk about the claim that “all politics is local.”
Carmen also talks with author Jennifer Lyell about her “Promises of God Storybook Bible.” Jennifer’s personal experience with a three year old boy named Job who was in her Sunday School class three years ago lit the flame of desire to write this book. God is now keeping his eternal promises to little Job who died at the age of 5.
