While mainstream media may view the stories of infidelity surrounding both former Nashville Mayor Megan Barry and President Trump as stories about money and contractual agreements, Christians are called to pray for the wounded families, examine our own guardrails in this area, and pray that God’s view of marriage as a demonstration of the sanctified relationship He has with humanity through His son Jesus Christ be lifted up.
John Stonestreet, President of the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, articulated for us how we are living downstream from the sexual revolution in a culture where autonomy has reached a level where no restraints whatsoever, including those found in nature, are acceptable.
