Connecting Faith 4-16-18 | Pastor Andrew Brunson’s Trial | Creepy Chick-fil-A | Mark Ward on Authorized: The Use and Misuse of the King James Bible
Pastor Andrew Brunson’s trial begins today in Turkey for the crime of “Christianization.” Let’s be in prayer for justice and the proclamation of God’s glory through Andrew’s story. The New Yorker characterizes the growth of Chick-fil-A in NYC as a creepy infiltration due to its Christian principles. Have we reached the place where a successful company that provided generous aid after the Pulse nightclub shooting and the Atlanta airport shutdown is not tolerated because it operates for the glory of God?
Mark Ward shared with us about “false friends” and other reasons why Christians should take advantage of the many good English Bible translations available in their study of God’s Word. His book is Authorized: The Use and Misuse of the King James Bible.
