A bridge has collapsed in Genoa, Italy and at least 25 victims have been identified so far. The anniversary has also just passed of a bridge in the Twin Cities that collapsed 11 years ago killing 13 people. While praying the news through this tragedy we are reminded to put our faith wholly in Christ.
In other news, the conversation about capital punishment continues as Nebraska has carried out the death penalty for crimes committed 39 years ago. A US army chaplain is facing 6 months in prison for adhering to the tenants of his endorsement in the rescheduling of a marriage retreat which a lesbian woman would attend.
Kristina King, the African American Affairs Director at Philos Project, talked about finding hope for today in the historic relationship between Black and Jewish communities and Carmen gave an update on Pastor Andrew Brunson. In the final segment, Carmen shares the story of redemption coming out of the Sutherland Springs shooting.
