Global famine forecasts | Parental rights and education | Face masks and the image of God | Glory Stories w Kathy Branzell
Carmen opens with a grim global forecast related to the food and famine. Although there’s plenty of food, we’re moving swiftly toward famine in many places because of a breakdown in transportation, processing, distribution and the fact that people are running out of money. Let us pray, mobilize and help wherever and as often as we can.
Ben Johnson is back for conversations covering:
- Title IX regulation changes designed to protect both the accuser and the accused
- the reality that parents, not the government, have a responsibility to educate children, and
- Rep. Nino Vatale’s claim that wearing a face mask “obscures the face, which is where the image of God is seen the most.”
The National Day of Prayer was a week ago and Kathy Branzell returns with several Glory Stories. If you missed the national observance prayer event, you can watch it here.
Kathy and Carmen also discuss Dare2Share’s National Senior Sendoff, May 28th and the Churches Helping Churches benefit concert event on Friday, May 15. Carmen has talked about the Churches Helping Churches campaign with Justin Giboney and you can connect directly with the effort here.
