Impeachment inquiry day 3 | Publicly Christian | Neighborly faith

18,000. That’s the Refugee resettlement cap proposed by the Trump administration. Carmen spoke earlier this week with Drew Griffin and Alan Cross in anticipation of this announcement and here urges listeners to actively engage with their members of Congress while they’re on recess in their home districts the next two weeks. Carmen argues the moral imperative of restoring the refugee cap to a number more aligned with our ability as a nation to offer refuge to people who literally no where to call home.  (More on refugees from The Reconnect archives.)

Then Carmen talks with Cedarville University professor Mark Caleb Smith about developments in the Congressional impeachment inquiry of the President of the United States.

Next is Carmen’s conversation with Kevin Singer about NeighborlyFaith.org, a ministry equipping Christians for positive engagement with neighbors who do not share their faith.

You can expect to hear both Professor Smith and Kevin Singer on the show again in the future!
