I posted a partial transcript of my conversation with John Cooper on my Facebook page so if you don’t follow me there, today’s the day. Go to Facebook and search @ReconnectwithCarmen or just click on the Facebook icon on this page and it will take you there. “Like” the page and you’ll get notifications for updates to the page which conveniently includes updates from here! See how that all works together for good?
So, today’s first conversation is with John Cooper from Skillet. Enough said.
Then I talk with Todd Chipman about his book, Until Every Child is Home: Why the Church Can and Must Care for Orphans. As an adopted child himself and a father of adopted children, Todd is a passionate advocate for foster/adoption ministries. But this isn’t just another book calling attention to the need. This is an invitation to see foster-care, adoption, and support ministries as an opportunity for the church to live into her theology for we are all adopted into the family of God through Christ – and by his grace we too cry out, “Abba, Father!”
