Debate at NJ Law School Over the Use of Racial Slur | Mother’s Day and Loving the Prodigal

Today’s Guests

Justin Giboney – The AND Campaign

A White law student at Rutgers Law School quoted a racial slur from an epithet from a early 90’s law case. That quoting of the slur has created a debate within the New Jersey law school about whether such words should and can be used without consequences. Justin weighs in on this as well as on Andrew Brown’s funeral and the legacy of of those who were participants in the Civil Rights movement.

Judy Douglass – Author of “When You Love a Prodigal”

“When You Love a Prodigal: 90 Days of Grace for the Wilderness” is meant to help give you hope and strength as you journey through loving a prodigal person in your life. It can be VERY challenging and cause us to ask “How long oh, LORD?,” but Judy herself has walked the road and can attest that God walks alongside us even during the great struggles.
