The Reconnect 8-8-17 | What to do with all this bad news? | Free speech under fire | Josh McDowell helps teens connect faith & life

North Korea edges closer to being able to launch a nuclear weapon. That, on top of all the other news of famine, conflict and war, can wear on us. In the face of bad news, we are the people of good news.

Can’t we talk to each other any more? Google fired the male engineer who anonymously circulated a controversial memo on the company’s diversity policy.

Josh McDowell is a well-known author and Christian apologist. He has written (or co-written) 147 books. And now, he is focusing on helping teens connect truth and faith to real life, through his #Truth365 devotional. He wants parents to understand not only fundamental truth statements to share with their teens, but the importance of doing so with authenticity and in relationship.
