Who are you withing today? That’s Carmen’s lead-off commentary from a headline out of Turkey where Muslim moms from Bosnia whose boys were killed a generation ago are travelling 1700 miles to sit with Muslim moms in Turkey whose boys have been kidnapped and conscripted into terrorist armies across the border in Syria. The shared grief is palpable and it reminds that we are called to be with people in their pain – not to try to fix it but to bear witness to the God who never leaves and never forsakes us. To bear witness to the God who draws nears and comes incarnate to be with us…
Then the series of conversations Carmen has been having the past few months with Bill English on the leadership lessons from the life of David (before he becomes king) wraps up.
And in the final half hour, Rebekah Lyons joins Carmen to discuss her book Rhythms of Renewal: Trading Stress and Anxiety for Peace and Purpose
