What Does it Mean to Pray for Revival?| Presidential Inaugurations and the Likely Actions of Biden in His First Few Days
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
— Psalms 139:23-24
Yesterday Carmen encouraged you to check out the Field of Flags spread across the national mall and today, if you missed it, she’s encouraging you to check out last night’s memorial of light around the reflecting pool. Think of these as huge solemn patriotic art installations and consider the use of light, piercing the darkness. 56 pillars of light two nights ago and last night, light shone forth in the darkness as Amazing Grace and Hallelujah pierced the silence of the night. The families and friends of the 400,000 Americans who have died of COVID and its complications were remembered and grieved and honored. And the country was invited to begin to heal.
